Amsterdam Venture Studios is an incubation program and network of startup hubs based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, that provides subsidized workspace, mentorship, and training to help students and researchers commercialize science and technology ventures. The organization focuses on fostering academic spin-offs and early-stage entrepreneurship across diverse technology sectors, including life sciences, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and high-tech manufacturing. Operating across five distinct campus locations throughout the city, the incubator supports early-stage companies that maintain an estimated 72 percent survival rate after two years of operation. The institutional ecosystem builder is backed by a consortium of local entities, including the University of Amsterdam, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Innovation Exchange Amsterdam, and the Amsterdam UMC. Amsterdam Venture Studios was officially founded in 2017 as a joint initiative by the city's major universities and medical centers.
