Based in San Francisco, California, Alex develops an artificial intelligence copilot plugin for Apple's Xcode integrated development environment to assist iOS and macOS software engineers. The software provides codebase-aware sidebar chat, inline completions, and automated code generation, functioning as a specialized alternative to the Cursor code editor for native Apple ecosystem development. Operating with a team of three employees, the enterprise software startup raised $5.3 million in seed funding to scale its core engineering operations. The company was selected for the Y Combinator accelerator program under the guidance of primary partner David Lieb, subsequently attracting over 1,200 registered users shortly after its initial commercial launch.
