American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a New York City-based nonprofit organization that provides one-on-one career mentorship to post-9/11 veterans and active-duty military spouses transitioning into the civilian workforce. Operating as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity, the organization has facilitated more than 35,000 mentorships and currently manages over 5,000 active mentorship pairings. The program is funded through corporate sponsorships and philanthropic grants, drawing volunteer mentors from a network of over 100 major corporations and 1,500 participating organizations. ACP collaborates with prominent corporate partners such as Morgan Stanley, Lockheed Martin, The Walt Disney Company, and Johnson & Johnson to supply professional guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and networking. In 2018, the organization expanded its core offerings to specifically address high unemployment rates among military spouses. The national nonprofit was founded in 2008 by Sidney E. Goodfriend.
