Michael Aberman

Michael Aberman is a Partner at SOSV based in New York City, New York, where he leads investments and programs for the firm's deep tech accelerators, HAX and IndieBio. Operating within a global portfolio of over 2,000 companies, he helps manage more than $1.5 billion in assets and recently spearheaded a $100 million deep tech fundraise in October 2024. Prior to his tenure at SOSV, Aberman served as the Chief Executive Officer of Delos and held executive leadership positions at In-Q-Tel, the venture capital arm of the United States Central Intelligence Agency. He also founded Aberman Ventures to back emerging technologies and subsequently earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. Today, his primary investment focus centers on scaling early-stage startups that are developing breakthrough commercial hardware, robotics, biotechnology, and dual-use climate technologies.
